Ever since 1994, Atlantic offers medical insurance plans which have been drafted with the needs of clients in mind and a variety of options that make such plans affordable to the greatest possible number of people both on an individual and group basis.

Depending on the number of employees in your organization, you can either:

  • Opt for one of our standard plans (as listed below) which have distinct and indisputable advantages and with annual limits ranging between €60.000 and €1.000.000 or
  • Enquire about tailor-made plans.

Additional benefits can be added to our standard plans such as:

  • Q1. Do the plans offer worldwide cover?A1. Yes they do, but  the maximum annual limit for USA/ Canada is lower.
  • Q2. Do the members of the group have to be permanent residents of Cyprus? A2. Yes, the minimum residency requirement is 8.5 months. However, if a member lives abroad for more than 3.5 months in a year, the Company will consider providing cover at an additional premium. 
  • Q3. Can a member choose to have his/her treatment/operation abroad? A3. Yes he/she can, there is no such restriction in the policy.
  • Q4. Can a member use the doctor/hospital of his/her choice? A4. Yes, there is no restriction in this respect.
  • Q5. Can a member claim for GESY co-payments? A5. Yes, provided he/she submits a fully documented claim for conditions covered by the policy.
  • Q6. Do you offer plans for In-patient cover only? A6. Yes, all our plans can be offered on an In-patient basis only (with or without excess), with large discounts.
  • Q7. Is a member covered after he/she reaches the age of 65 or 70? A7. Yes, members can enjoy lifelong cover under our medical products, provided they remain employees of the client company.
  • Q8. Do you stop covering newly diagnosed chronic/recurring conditions after the renewal of the policy? A8. Our plans offer yearly limits for the ongoing treatment of chronic/recurring conditions. Acute phases/exacerbations of chronic/recurring conditions are covered within the normal covers of the plans.
  • Q9. Is there any discount offered for group policies? A9. Yes, a dicsount is offered for groups.
  • Q10. Is there any exclusion for pandemics? A10. No, there is no such exclusion in the policy.
